The pressure to sell sounds horrific to my ears (eyes?).

Additionally it turns the salesperson into what’s perceived as overly ‘pushy’ in the eyes of the customers.

Must have been a tightrope of not upsetting customers whilst also adhering to company policy. I don’t envy your time there!
