The 4/8 exercise was indeed unnatural for me too... I’m not sure I can keep to that particular timing process, but absolutely concur with any type of slowed down breathing.
It can have an almost comatosing effect on me within 30 seconds. My state feels totally different.
Now one would think I’d cherish this technique front of mind at all times, but, alas, I continue to forget it until I’m under extreme stress! Thanks for the reminder.
