Sadly, yet another relatively predictable story of abuses of power.

I really can't think of a credo that is more relevant in our times than Lord Acton's famous "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Seems that humans cannot handle too much fame, too much fortune, which are branches of the 'absolute power' tree.
