I so relate and agree that our natural instinct is to be attracted to what we know, even if we hated it in a family member. After all, there’s no thinking or logic in the process, it’s instinct.

Powerful forces draw us to some individuals and it feels so right/so wrong all at the same time.

I’m personally taking a break for, oh a few decades(!), as I don’t want to repeat the mistakes I’ve made.
